When he saw the explosion of the first atomic bomb which was made possible by making the Manhattan Project leader Robert Oppenheimer quoted a passage from the Bhagavad Gita (song 11, verse 32) :
" The Blessed Lord said:" I am Shiva, the destroyer of worlds, come to engage all men. Apart from you, the Pandavas, they will all perish, warriors of both armies clashing. "
