The mystery of the Mona Lisa smile gradually unveiled
The smile of the Mona Lisa, the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci, is now informed by new technologies. Researchers at the Laboratory Centre for Research and Restoration of Museums of France, located at the Musée du Louvre, have highlighted the technical innovations of the painter and inventor, Italian (1452-1519). They are particularly interested in portraits attributed to Leonardo da Vinci can be admired at the Louvre in Paris.
