The best heat capacities of water (compared to air) makes a computer very green (ecological): it consumes 40% less total energy: most of the energy needed for such a machine is often used in the cooling system for its COOL. In addition, the heated water is used to heat nearby buildings, which further improves the carbon footprint
In live in hard, it makes this almost as close to the domestic plumbing, right?
The system has delivered a performance of 6 petaflops (what is a petaflop ? ): it puts far Top500 World Aquasar but is the leading global energy with 450 megaflops per watt of electricity consumed: the Ferrari to 500 are much less good at it ....
After Google has justified its side Green IT ( Carbon 1km by car = than 1,000 research ) despite its 2 million servers is IBM pushes a computer cleaner. The Initiative Climate Savers Computing already mentioned is not a dead letter!
